I have recently booted Linux- Ubuntu onto my hard drive and have discovered the glory that is Gimp. Gimp is a Linux program for drawing and graphic design, and the best part is it comes free with Linux Ubuntu. It is the first drawing program that I actually like (and believe me I've tried everything compatible with windows from Oekaki to Adobe's Photoshop series and pretty much everything in between). So, in a basic conclusion, I may begin posting and actually become active again! The really matters to no one but myself but if anyone happens to read this it might just be something to kill 5 minutes, and after all, is that not what the internet was created for?

Does anyone know how much one of those USB sketch pads cost? Or does anyone have an old one that they wouldn't mind selling? If so email me at hereticsangheili@lycos.com or ipoddistribution@hotmail.com and we'll take it from there.

Linux is amazing and it is hands-down the best Operating System I have ever used. I haven't even explored all of its functions yet and already I love it. I strongly recommend that those of you who are booting Windows XP and think that it could be much more try out Linux, it's free, because that's the kind of idea that it's based around. Not all of this 'you-have-to-do-this-program-when-we-say-so-in-exactly-the-way-we-say-so' bullshit, and none of this 'I'm-going-to-clog-up-your-hard-drive-with-2-gigs-of-redundant-picture-archives' or 'I'm-going-to-auto-format-my-way-to-make-things-easier-for-you-because-you-always-think-neatly-inside-microsoft's-little-box'
it's so hippie-like, it's like all, 'do whatever you want with me maaann, woh... of you like boot me up and stuff you can totally like do whatever you want. Hey I got, like, updates and stuff and I'll tell you about them once and then get out of your hair'
The CD case itself even says "Ubuntu is software libre. You are encouraged and legally entitled to copy, reinstall, modify, and redistribute this CD for yourself and your friends. Share the spirit of Ubuntu!" If that is not awesome that I do not know what is.
